It was a wonderful hotel, nothing to complain about, do recommend. The place was clean and we loved suite. The staff were amiable people. The location was particularly good, close to public transport, and the train station, the Old Bridge, and many other places of interest, in a quiet area.
Nothing, all excellent!

The hotel is positioned perfectly for walking, it is on the edge of the old town and the new shopping precinct. Public transport is a few meters from the door. The room was up to date and very clean. The staff were very helpful.

My room was a "small" single but by European hotel standards was quite large. Bed was akin to a North American double, again quite large by Euro standards, and the mattress was very, very comfortable. Hotel is a very short walk to the beginning of the incredible Hauptstraße and also very close to streetcars for easy access to and from the Hauptbahnhof. Superb, superb bath towels. Free wi-fi.
I think my problems may have been unique to my room but they were significant. First, the shape of the room meant that the bed was close to the door with no sound buffer, and the door is wedged between two other guests' doors, and those doors were opening and closing all night. Maybe this was because the only way to access wifi was to use the hallway. But what was worst was the bright light illuminating the alleyway that my second-floor window opened onto. This was directly adjacent to my window. Inescapable and even with shades drawn it was almost like having a light on in the room. This was horrible and they should have better light-blocking window coverings. I finally wish they had regular, delicious German Müsli on the breakfast table.

Quiet and unforgettable units with newer decoration. Pleasant employees. - Magnificent and nice location, near the main shopping street which brings you directly into the old town.

Staff were very helpful, polite and friendly. The room was very clean.
The room had air-conditioning but there was no remote-control to operate it. Very noise road runs alongside the hotel. Traffic starts from about 06:30. The hotel was very clean but it was over priced. Not good value for your money. I don't blame the hotel. Booked.net should show better information on its site about the hotels it offers.

We spent one night at this place and our rooms were spacious, well-equipped, and unforgettable, with plenty of storage space and even a complimentary bottle - we had a lovely time here with no complaints.

The staff were extremely friendly. Peter ( the governor) even arranged a hospital appointment for us. The location is excellent being just where the old town meets the new and the river is just down the road. The secured parking was a bonus in a big city like Heidelberg. Very enjoyable stay.
Its a shame the breakfast room is so open to the front of the hotel. It feels like you are eating on the pavement.
